2010 Master Gardener State Conference to be held in
Tippecanoe County at Purdue University, June 18-19, 2010
Started in 1988, we have over 200 members with a wide variety of
gardening interests. Our goal is to provide information and knowledge to
people in the community on home horticulture and gardening,
“Helping others Grow”
Some of our activities and projects each year include,
Garden Expo our Spring Garden show, Public
Education Workshops, Scholarships, 3-Adopt-A-Spot gardens in
Lafayette and West Lafayette. Children's
and Gigantic's gardens are added to our
All-America Selections Display & Idea Gardens, one of only
four in Indiana, located on the grounds of the Extension office.
They join our vegetable Demonstration Garden started in 1997, it
continues to provide over 2,700 pounds of produce to local food banks
each year and our Memory Garden honoring friends and
gardeners.
Gardening is for all ages, invite someone to enjoy a garden with you.
